Red Fish Soup

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 (28 ounce) can tomato puree
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 bunch green onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons red pepper flakes, or to taste
  • 1 cup long grain white rice
  • 1 pound catfish fillets, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • salt and pepper to taste

    Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

    Ready Time: 1 hr 15 mins

  • in a large pot, combine the tomato puree, water and green onions. season with red pepper flakes. set over medium heat and bring to a boil. add rice and cook until tender, about 30 minutes. add fish and simmer for 20 minutes. season with salt and pepper.
