Greek-style Lamb Kebabs With Tzatziki

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 800 g lamb fillets, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

  • 200 g plain yogurt
  • 1 lebanese cucumber, finely grated
  • 1/2 red onion, finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon italian parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon mint, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 mix marinade ingredients in shallow dish. add lamb, turning to coat thoroughly.
  • 2 lightly season, then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate from 2 hours to overnight - the longer the better.
  • 3 preheat grill plate or bbq grill to high.
  • 4 thread lamb on skewers and grill for 2 minutes each side (8 mins in total) or until done to your liking.
  • 5 meanwhile, combine all tzatziki ingredients in a bowl and lightly season.
  • 6 serve alongside kebabs and offer a salad.
