Pan-seared Filet Mignon

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 4 (6 ounce) beef tenderloin, filets 
- 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper 
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 
- 2 tablespoons butter 
- 2 tablespoons olive oil 
Recipe
- 1 sprinkle fillets with salt and pepper on both sides. rub seasoning into meat with your fingers. 
- 2 melt butter with olive oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium heat. add filets and cook 5-7 minutes on each side.
