Marinated Lamb Scotch Fillet Steaks

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
  • 500 g lamb scotch steaks

Recipe

  • 1 combine oil, paste, garlic, basil, and black pepper in a bowl, add the lamb and coat thoroughly.
  • 2 cover and place in refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  • 3 remove lamb from marinade, pat dry with a paper towel and grill for 6 to 10 minutes each side, basting as needed with marinade or pan fry 6 to 10 minutes each side.
