Chicken In Mushroom-cream Sauce

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 lb chicken fillet
  • flour, for dredging
  • olive oil, for frying
  • 2 -4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms, sliced, drained
  • 1/2 cup wine
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream, use a little less

Recipe

  • 1 lightly dredge chicken in flour.
  • 2 fry in olive oil until golden brown and set aside.
  • 3 in another saute pan, add garlic, mushrooms and wine and simmer until garlic exudes aroma.
  • 4 add butter and cream and stir.
  • 5 add the chicken.
  • 6 cover and simmer on low heat a few minutes until blended and cooked through.
  • 7 sprinkle a bit of flour for extra thickness, if desired.
