Grilled Soy-ginger Salmon

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 lb salmon fillets or 2 salmon steaks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup onion, grated
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for grill surface)

Recipe

  • 1 combine marinade ingredients
  • 2 cover salmon with marinade and let stand at room temperature for 20 minutes. flip salmon over after 10 minutes to marinade the salmon equally.
  • 3 cook on uncovered grill, directly over medium coals for approx 7 minutes each side. baste with remaining marinade throughout grilling.
  • 4 note--when grilling salmon flip with spatula.
