Grilled Soy-ginger Salmon

Ingredients
- Servings: 2
- 1 lb salmon fillets or 2 salmon steaks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup onion, grated
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (for grill surface)
Recipe
- 1 combine marinade ingredients
- 2 cover salmon with marinade and let stand at room temperature for 20 minutes. flip salmon over after 10 minutes to marinade the salmon equally.
- 3 cook on uncovered grill, directly over medium coals for approx 7 minutes each side. baste with remaining marinade throughout grilling.
- 4 note--when grilling salmon flip with spatula.
