Chinese Roast Lamb

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 600 g piece lamb fillets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 (50 g) packet roast, red lamb seasoning mix
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon five-spice powder

Recipe

  • 1 combine all the ingredients in a large bowl, mix well, add lamb, toss to coat, refrigerate several hours or over night.
  • 2 pre-heat oven to 180 degrees celsius, drain lamb, reserving marinade.
  • 3 place lamb in an oven proof dish, roast uncovered, for about 50 minĂ¢€™s or until browned and cooked through. brush lamb several times with reserved marinade whilst cooking.
  • 4 let lamb stand for 5-10 minĂ¢€™s before slicing.
