Chinese Roast Lamb

Ingredients

- 600 g piece lamb fillets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons dry sherry
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 (50 g) packet roast, red lamb seasoning mix
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon five-spice powder
Recipe
- 1 combine all the ingredients in a large bowl, mix well, add lamb, toss to coat, refrigerate several hours or over night.
- 2 pre-heat oven to 180 degrees celsius, drain lamb, reserving marinade.
- 3 place lamb in an oven proof dish, roast uncovered, for about 50 minĂ¢€™s or until browned and cooked through. brush lamb several times with reserved marinade whilst cooking.
- 4 let lamb stand for 5-10 minĂ¢€™s before slicing.
