Grilled Fish With Asian-style Marinade

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup green onion
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/2 lbs tuna steaks or 1 1/2 lbs salmon fillets

Recipe

  • 1 combine marinade ingredients in shallow dish.
  • 2 add fish and marinate 2 to 6 hours in the refrigerator.
  • 3 remove from refrigerator and let sit 20 - 30 minutes while grill preheats.
  • 4 place directly over high heat on oiled rack.
  • 5 tuna only; after 5 minutes, baste with marinade and turn.
  • 6 remove from grill when center-read meat thermometer reads 140°f for tuna or when salmon flakes.
