Favorite Fish Stew

Ingredients

- 4 carrots, sliced
- 1 lb small red potato, quartered
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 stalk celery, sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- 2 (10 ounce) bottles clam juice
- wine
- 1/2-1 lb fish fillet, cut up
- 1 cup shrimp
- 1 (6 ounce) can clams, chopped
- 14 ounces diced tomatoes
- tabasco sauce
Recipe
- 1 *clam juices can be very salty.
- 2 be careful if you add salt.
- 3 **use fresh, frozen or two cans of shrimp.
- 4 saute onion, celery, garlic and herbs in oil.
- 5 add potatoes, carrots, clam juice, wine, bouillon, clams, tomatoes and tabasco.
- 6 simmer until potatoes are almost done.
- 7 add shrimp.
- 8 add fish just before serving and cook until opaque.
