Favorite Fish Stew

Total Time: 1 hr 4 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 39 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 1 lb small red potato, quartered
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 2 (10 ounce) bottles clam juice
  • wine
  • 1/2-1 lb fish fillet, cut up
  • 1 cup shrimp
  • 1 (6 ounce) can clams, chopped
  • 14 ounces diced tomatoes
  • tabasco sauce

Recipe

  • 1 *clam juices can be very salty.
  • 2 be careful if you add salt.
  • 3 **use fresh, frozen or two cans of shrimp.
  • 4 saute onion, celery, garlic and herbs in oil.
  • 5 add potatoes, carrots, clam juice, wine, bouillon, clams, tomatoes and tabasco.
  • 6 simmer until potatoes are almost done.
  • 7 add shrimp.
  • 8 add fish just before serving and cook until opaque.
