Grilled Tilapia Recipe

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 4 whole tilapia fillets, about 1 1/2 lb each
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 lemon, juice of
- red chili pepper flakes, to taste
- salt, to taste
- 1 cup vegetable oil
Recipe
- 1 combine all the ingredients (except the fish) in a large glass bowl and whisk until well mixed.
- 2 make three deep slits on each side of the fish then rub the oil and spice marinade onto and into the fish.
- 3 place the fish in the bowl and allow to marinade for up to an hour.
- 4 cook the fish over a barbecue or cook under a grill, turning once or twice. serve accompanied by african hot sauce.
