Grilled Red Snapper With Spicy Lime Soy Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic and red chile paste
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons scallions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 4 red snapper fillets (scaled, skin on, about 6 ounces each)
  • cilantro (to garnish)
  • lime wedge (to garnish)

Recipe

  • 1 combine lime juice, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, chili garlic paste, ginger, scallions and peanut oil in a large bowl.
  • 2 add fish and marinate for 2 hours, turning occasionally.
  • 3 preheat grill to medium-high.
  • 4 grill fish 4-10 minutes, depending on thickness.
  • 5 garnish with cilantro and lime wedges.
