Grilled Salmon Fillets With Creamy Horseradish Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper
  • 6 salmon fillets, 1 inch-thick (about 6 ounces each)
  • nonstick cooking spray

Recipe

  • 1 for sauce: mix all sauce ingredients in small bowl.
  • 2 season with salt and pepper.
  • 3 (can be made 1 day ahead. cover and chill.) for salmon: spray grill rack generously with nonstick spray.
  • 4 prepare barbecue (nedium-high heat).
  • 5 whisk oil, horseradish, soy sauce, garlic, salt and pepper in another small bowl.
  • 6 brush oil mixture over both sides of salmon fillets.
  • 7 grill salmon just until opaque in center, about 4 minutes per side.
  • 8 transfer salmon to plates.
  • 9 serve with sauce.
