My Beach Grouper

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs grouper fillets, skined
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon finely minced parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon old bay seasoning
  • 1/3 cup plain fine breadcrumbs
  • 2 -3 tablespoons light mayonnaise

Recipe

  • 1 prepare your baking pan or broiler with pam.
  • 2 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 3 in a small dish, combine onion powder, garlic powder, minced parsley, black pepper, and old bay. reserve.
  • 4 in another small dish, combine the olive oil with fresh lemon juice. reserve.
  • 5 brush 2 tablespoons of the olive oil mixture on both sides of the fillets.
  • 6 sprinkle both sides of the fillets with dry spice mixture.
  • 7 sprinkle both sides of the fillets now with fine breadcrumbs.
  • 8 bake fillets about 10 minutes; brush with remaining olive oil mixture and spread with mayonnaise.
  • 9 broil until fish flakes easily; depending on thickness of fillets this can be from 3-6 minutes or so.
  • 10 enjoy!
