Chicken Onion Steak

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 4 tablespoons tomato ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons barbecue sauce (optional)
  • 1 small onion (sliced)
  • 2 cheese slices
  • 1/4 cup oil

Recipe

  • 1 marinate chicken, salt, mustard powder, tomato ketchup & vinegar.
  • 2 refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
  • 3 heat oil in non-stick skillet.
  • 4 add chicken fillet and fry them for 5 minutes on both sides on moderate flame.
  • 5 also add remaining sauce of marinated chicken and bring it to boil.
  • 6 add bbq sauce.
  • 7 add sliced onion.
  • 8 cook till chicken is tender & sauce is slightly thick.
  • 9 serve steak preferably in preheated sizzling plate placing steaks first and topping it with onion sauce followed by cheese slices.
  • 10 serve with fries or mashed potatoes, or steam seasonal vegetables or baked potatoes.
