Chicken Onion Steak

Ingredients

- 4 chicken breast fillets
- 2 tablespoons black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 4 tablespoons tomato ketchup
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 teaspoons barbecue sauce (optional)
- 1 small onion (sliced)
- 2 cheese slices
- 1/4 cup oil
Recipe
- 1 marinate chicken, salt, mustard powder, tomato ketchup & vinegar.
- 2 refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
- 3 heat oil in non-stick skillet.
- 4 add chicken fillet and fry them for 5 minutes on both sides on moderate flame.
- 5 also add remaining sauce of marinated chicken and bring it to boil.
- 6 add bbq sauce.
- 7 add sliced onion.
- 8 cook till chicken is tender & sauce is slightly thick.
- 9 serve steak preferably in preheated sizzling plate placing steaks first and topping it with onion sauce followed by cheese slices.
- 10 serve with fries or mashed potatoes, or steam seasonal vegetables or baked potatoes.
