Madagascar Avocado Dip

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 avocado pears, soft cut into small pieces and mashed smooth
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 1/2 ounces anchovy fillets, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 cup onion, chopped finely
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup sweet sherry

Recipe

  • 1 blend avocado and lemon juice. add anchovy, onion, red peppers and garlic powder.
  • 2 mix in a food processor or chop finely.
  • 3 add sweet sherry.
  • 4 cover the bowl and chill until ready to serve.
  • 5 serve with sesame crackers.
  • 6 to serve as an appetizer arrange on lettuce cup and garnish with thin onion slices and tomato wedges with sesame crackers.
