Grilled Salmon With Jalapeno-honey Glaze

Total Time: 23 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs salmon fillets
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 teaspoons jalapeno peppers, chopped
  • 1/4 cup honey

Recipe

  • 1 cut the salmon into six 5 oz.
  • 2 portions.
  • 3 season the fish with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 4 combine the chopped jalapeno and honey and set the glaze aside.
  • 5 spray a medium-hot grill with non-fat cooking spray and grill the salmon for about 4 minutes per side or until it is firm in the center.
  • 6 if a grill is unavailable, the fish may be sauteed; it will take the same amount of time to cook.
  • 7 during the last 2 minutes of cooking, brush the uppermost side with the jalapeno-honey glaze.
  • 8 do not turn the fish over after that or the glaze will stick to the grill.
