Healthy Fried Trout

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 lb trout fillet
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 lemon

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil in skillet.
  • 2 add salt and pepper to flour and mix.
  • 3 rinse trout and dip into beaten egg.
  • 4 cover filets with flour and shake off excess.
  • 5 add filets to pan, skin side down and fry 12 minutes.
  • 6 flip and fry an additional 12 minutes.
  • 7 serve with 1/4 lemon wedge.
