Macadamia And Honey Crusted Chilean Sea Bass

Total Time: 1 hr 25 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb chilean sea bass fillet
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts (coarsely ground)
  • 1 cup ritz cracker (coarsely ground)
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup salted butter
  • 1 lemon

Recipe

  • 1 crush macadamia nuts to desired consistency.
  • 2 crush ritz crackers to same consistency.
  • 3 melt butter over low heat.
  • 4 add nuts and crackers and honey and mix well.
  • 5 place mixture in a bowl and refrigerate for 1 hour giving it a stir every 15 minutes (until butter is coagulated and not runny).
  • 6 spread mixture over fillets evenly.
  • 7 squeeze juice of 1/2 lemon evenly over fillets.
  • 8 place fillets on baking sheet and broil 3-4 minutes. (until top is lite golden brown).
  • 9 bake 375°f for 15-20 minutes.
  • 10 slice remaining 1/2 lemon for garnish.
  • 11 serve hot and enjoy!
