Grilled Halibut With Grapefruit Oregano Relish

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 lbs halibut steaks or 1 1/2 lbs fillets
- 3 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup grapefruit juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh oregano, chopped or 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 1 tablespoon old-style mustard
- 1 red grapefruit, sectioned and chopped
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped or 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
Recipe
- 1 marinade; in a shallow glass dish, whisk together dijon mustard, grapefruit juice, olive oil, oregano and pepper; add halibut, turning to coat. cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- 2 relish: in a smal bowl, whisk together old-style mustard, chopped grapefruit sections, olive oil, honey, oregano and pepper. cover and refrigerate.
- 3 preheat grill or broiler to high. grill halibut for about 4 minutes per side or until done.
- 4 transfer grilled halibut to serving platter. spoon relish on top of halibut.
