Poached Salmon

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 2 salmon fillets
  • water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • black pepper or peppercorn, to taste
  • 1 -2 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill (or fresh dill to taste)

Recipe

  • 1 put water in a poaching dish or pan -- add enough to partially cover the salmon.
  • 2 add lemon juice, black peppercorns, and salt, then mix.
  • 3 bring to boil, reduce to simmer, and add salmon.
  • 4 cover and cook for 10 minutes.
  • 5 remove salmon and drain.
