Gg's Fried Catfish

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups yellow cornmeal 
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 
- 3 teaspoons salt 
- 1 teaspoon ground red pepper 
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder 
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 
- 8 catfish fillets 
-  vegetable oil (for deep frying) 
Recipe
- 1 mis cornmeal, flour, salt, garlic powder and the peppers together. 
- 2 dredge fish fillets in flour mixture, shaking off excess. 
- 3 heat oil to 375 degrees. 
- 4 fry fish 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
