Grilled Catfish With Homemade Salsa

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 catfish fillets
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 medium jalapeno peppers, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 sprinkle catfish with garlic salt and pepper.
  • 2 place catfish in a well-oiled grill basket, or on a well-oiled grill rack.
  • 3 grill on an uncovered grill directly over medium-hot coals for about 5 minutes per side, or until fish flakes easily.
  • 4 homemade salsa: in a bowl combine tomatoes, onion, jalapeno peppers, vinegar and salt and stir well let stand at room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving.
  • 5 chill to store.
  • 6 serve over catfish fillets, hot off the grill.
