Poach (pressure Cooker Alternative)

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 slices lemons
  • 2 slices onions
  • 1 sprig parsley
  • peppercorn

Recipe

  • 1 cover salmon steaks or fillets with boiling salted water.
  • 2 season with 2 slices lemon, 2 slices onion, a sprig of parsley and several peppercorns.
  • 3 bring to boil.
  • 4 cover, reduced heat to simmer and begin timing.
  • 5 allow 10 minutes poaching time per inch of thickness measured at its thickest part or cook until salmon flakes when tested with a fork at thickest part.
