Fillet Of Fish In Wine

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb fish fillet, frozen or fresh
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup wine
  • 1 dash oregano or 1 dash tarragon
  • 2 tablespoons cream
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 cut fillets in half.
  • 2 melt margarine in frying pan and brown onion and garlic until golden.
  • 3 place fish in pan, covered by tomatoes, wine and parsley.
  • 4 heat to boiling, cover and simmer about 15 minutes.
  • 5 add oregano and blend in cream, stirring until smooth.
  • 6 serve garnished with parsley.
