Fish With Sour Cream Sauce

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 lb fillets of any light fish
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter in a skillet.
  • 2 saute onions in butter until lightly browned.
  • 3 arrange fish on top of onions and sprinkle with seasonings.
  • 4 add the water.
  • 5 cover, bring to a boil and then lower heat to low.
  • 6 cook for 45 minutes.
  • 7 divide fish onto two plates.
  • 8 stir sour cream into onions and liquid left in pan.
  • 9 serve sauce over fish.
