Quick & Easy Poached Salmon

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 skin-on salmon fillet
  • water (to cover)
  • kosher salt
  • pepper

Recipe

  • 1 place filet, skin side down, in a small stock pot.
  • 2 pour enough water over to cover the salmon by about two inches.
  • 3 place pot on high heat until just beginning to boil.
  • 4 remove salmon from water and pat dry.
  • 5 sprinkle with kosher salt and pepper to taste.
  • 6 this goes great with a little garlic mayonnaise or a vinaigrette.
