Maple Salmon

Ingredients

- 3/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin removed
- 1/4 cup fresh coarse ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon peanut oil
Recipe
- 1 in a deep bowl, mix maple syrup and soy sauce.
- 2 arrange fillets so that marinade completely covers fish.
- 3 marinate in the refrigerator for as long possible (ideally 24 hours).
- 4 preheat oven to 500 degrees f.
- 5 rub oil on a 10 by 10-inch sheet of aluminum foil.
- 6 place pepper on a small plate.
- 7 remove salmon from marinade and pat topside only into cracked pepper to coat.
- 8 place fillets, pepper side up, on foil.
- 9 bake on the top rack of the oven for approximately 7 minutes.
