Fish Rosettes

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 1/2 lbs flounder fillets, cut in 12 strips
  • 1/2 lb salmon fillet, cut in 12 cubes
  • 3 onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 wrap one strip of flounder around each cube of salmon to form rosettes; secure with toothpicks.
  • 3 grease a baking dish with butter or non-stick spray. arrange onions on bottom of dish; place rosettes on top of onions.
  • 4 combine salt, paprika and pepper in small bowl; sprinkle over fish and onions. add tomato sauce to baking dish. dot fish with butter.
  • 5 bake 45 min or until fish flakes with a fork; baste with tomato sauce every 15 min while baking.
