Fish Soup A La Kainuu

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 1/2 liters water or 1 1/2 liters fish stock
  • 1 -2 onion
  • 5 -6 allspice berries
  • salt
  • 4 -5 potatoes
  • 1/2 kg filleted fish (salmon, whitefish, pike, perch)
  • dill
  • chives
  • chopped parsley

Recipe

  • 1 peel the onions and split them in pieces.
  • 2 place them in the water or fish stock together with the allspice berries and bring to the boil.
  • 3 cook for a while for the stock to become tasty.
  • 4 peel the potatoes and cut into small pieces the size of your fingertips.
  • 5 also cut the fish fillets into small cubes.
