Cooked Caesar Salad Dressing

Total Time: 2 hrs 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • 3 anchovy fillets
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 dash worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4-1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Recipe

  • 1 place all ingredients except for cheese in the work bowl of a food processor or blender.
  • 2 process or blend until smooth transfer mixture to a small saucepan and cook over very low heat until thickened--about 10 minutes.
  • 3 do not boil.
  • 4 transfer to a bowl--cover surface with plastic wrap and chill for at least 2 hours.
  • 5 toss chilled dressing and cheese with salad.
