Krabby Patties

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 40 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cod fish fillets, cut into 1/2 inch or smaller cubes
  • 16 ounces imitation crabmeat, shredded
  • 3 cups mashed potatoes (i used instant )
  • 1/3 cup green onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons old bay seasoning
  • 10 thin slices cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl mix the fish, imitation crab, potatoes, green onion, parsley and old bay seasoning together.
  • 2 using a 1/3 cup measure, divide the mixture into 20 portions.
  • 3 while keeping hands dusted well with the flour, shape the portions into rounds and flatten them into burger shapes.
