Fish In Orange Creme

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 lb tilapia fillet, cut in to half
  • 4 -6 scallions, chopped
  • 3 -4 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 orange zest
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream or 1 cup half-and-half

Recipe

  • 1 in a large frying pan, place the butter and scallions.
  • 2 let it cook for about 2 minutes and add the fish in the pan and let the fish get a bit brown on each side.
  • 3 then add the orange and the zest in the pan cover and cook for about 5 minutes.
  • 4 add the paprika and mix very carefully without breaking the fish too much, until the paprika has dissolved.
  • 5 then add the cream to the pan and stir it carefully until well blended.
  • 6 add salt and pepper to taste.
  • 7 let it simmer and serve warm.
