Halibut Puttanesca

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1/4 cup black olives, pitted and coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 cup green olives, pitted and coarsely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 1 tablespoon anchovy paste or 2 anchovy fillets, mashed
  • 2 teaspoons italian seasoning, divided
  • 6 (5 ounce) halibut fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Recipe

  • 1 heat the broiler.
  • 2 rub halibut with oil.
  • 3 sprinkle 1 tsp seasoning over the fish.
  • 4 in a skillet over high heat, bring remaining ingredients to a boil.
  • 5 reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • 6 broil 10 minutes of until fish flakes.
  • 7 turn once.
  • 8 top with sauce.
